Frequently Asked Questions

Pricing & Payments

How do I reserve a puppy?

Once you submit your application and are approved, you can reserve a puppy with a reservation fee. This ensures your spot on the waitlist for your chosen litter.

When will my puppy be ready to go home?

Puppies typically go home at 8 weeks old, after they’ve received early socialization and a full vet check.

Can I visit my puppy before taking them home?

To protect the health and safety of our puppies, we don’t allow in-home visits. However, we provide regular photo and video updates so you can watch your puppy grow!

What should I have ready before bringing my puppy home?

We provide a full Puppy Binder and go-home checklist that covers supplies, feeding, training, and safety tips — everything you’ll need to start off strong.

What’s the price of your puppies?

Pricing varies by breed:
  • Cavapoos: $3,500–$4,000
  • Cockapoos: $2,900–$3,500
  • Poodles: $2,500–$4,000 (pet homes only, no breeding rights)
  • Maltipoos: $3,600–$4,500

Puppy Care & Training Basics

How often should I feed my puppy?

Feed your puppy three times a day until about 6 months of age, then transition to twice daily. Follow the feeding recommendations in your Puppy Binder for brand-specific guidance.

When should I start crate training?

We begin early crate introduction before go-home day. You can continue by creating a positive routine — short naps, calm reinforcement, and consistent schedules.

What do I do if my puppy cries at night?

Keep their crate near your bed for comfort and reassurance. Offer a familiar scent blanket and a Snuggle Puppy to ease the transition those first few nights.

How much exercise does my puppy need?

Young puppies need short bursts of play and exploration several times a day, with plenty of rest between. Avoid long walks until growth plates close around 12 months.

Can I take my puppy out to places?

Wait until your puppy has completed all vaccinations (usually by 16 weeks) before visiting public spaces. In the meantime, safe socialization can happen at home and in secure outdoor areas.

Can I leave my puppy alone during the day?

Puppies shouldn’t be left alone for long periods. Start with short absences (10–15 minutes) and build up as they adjust.

Breeding Program & Practices

Are your breeding dogs health tested?

Yes! All parent dogs are health tested for structure, temperament, and genetic conditions before breeding to ensure healthy, well-balanced litters.

Are your puppies raised with other pets or children?

Yes. Puppies are raised in a home environment with plenty of handling, gentle exposure, and real-life sounds — preparing them for family life.

How big will my puppy get?

Size varies depending on breed and pairing. Most of our Cavapoos and Cockapoos range between 12–25 lbs, while Poodles may vary from Mini to Moyen sizes.

Will my puppy shed? Are they hypoallergenic?

Our breeds are chosen for low-shedding, allergy-friendly coats. While no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, most families with mild allergies do well with our puppies.

How often should I groom my puppy?

Brush several times a week and plan for grooming every 6–8 weeks to prevent tangles and keep their coat healthy.

Should I get pet insurance?

We recommend it. Puppies go home with 30 days of Trupanion health insurance, and many families choose to continue coverage for peace of mind.
